Blogspot is so smart

So somehow a few of these pictures were upside down on my computer, and I couldn't figure out how to flip them. I was just going to put them up that way, and smile as I thought about people flipping their computers upside down. But Blogspot flipped them for me! Crazy!
Still, the moral of the story is take pictures with a real camera, not an iphone.

19 weeks- Mellow Mushroom after a day of Clemson wins.
Not that we actually went to any of the games.
18 weeks- Murder Mystery dinner with our staff team. Really fun!
It was a 1950's high school reunion theme, and Patrick turned out to be the murderer.
He was Cal Q. Lader, the school nerd, and he obviously fully embraced his character for the night.

17 weeks- We didn't make it out of the house on this lazy Saturday.
But Patrick did want to make sure the espresso was included. Don't miss it.

These Girls

These girls have been the highlight of this year of ministry in America. They are crazy! Each week Megan and I leave our time leading this Bible study saying, "They are out of control.
But they are wonderful."
They challenge us with the questions they ask in Bible study. They take bold steps of faith when we go share our faith together. They sacrifice so much of their time to be a part of the Cru movement. Last semester they would get together almost every night to pray together. Even now that school has gotten busy, they are still so committed to prayer and to praying together.
As I think about my role changing next year with a new little baby in my life, I am even more thankful for the time I've had this year with these girls. Even though I'll be spending less time on campus, I know we'll still be a part of each other's lives.

Have you ever played Quelf?

And this is Shauna chasing Patrick and me with a camera...

16 weeks

Saturday was 16 weeks!  Baby is the size of an avocado!

We spent Saturday evening in the kids' section at Barnes and Noble reading the marriage book we're studying in small group. Had to edit things a bit with all the little ears around :-)  Although, take a look at the book beside Patrick. Kids' books these days.
